My little news boy

So I left a newspaper..well mostly adds on the floor the other day, and Caleb rolled to the other side of the room to get them. SERIOUSLY he played with them for over an hour....I don't' understand the infatuation...I guess its just a boy thing.

If only he could tell me all the good deals in the adds...now that would be awesome!

Like father like son...is that how the saying goes?

So these were taken a few weeks ago, but I think they are super cute. Caleb loves being on the computer with Nathan. One night he was having a hard time getting to sleep, so he laid on daddy's back and got tuckered out watching daddy do homework.

Happy Thanksgiving!

This year we have so many things to be thankful for! Family and friends have been such a blessing in our lives, and we were sad we couldn't be with family this year. So we invited some friends over from the ward, and had a wonderful night with them! I love this time of year, it is so wonderful to reflect on everything that is so good in our lives, and to contemplate all the blessings we have received. We have been SO blessed this year! Thank you everyone for all do for us! We love you!

Here are some photos of our dinner. It was my first time making a turkey, and I think it turned out fairly well! OH, but I forgot to take a picture of the turkey...OOPS!

It was fun to get the table all set up pretty. I had fun learning how to fold linen napkins!

Just some of the yummy food we had...OOPS. don't tell Wymount we had candles burning!
Caleb's first Thanksgiving!! We gave him the drumstick, and he thought it was cool at first, but got confused and couldn't figure out what he was supposed to do with it!

He may not have known what to do with the turkey, but he sure LOVED his cranberries!

Waving HELLO to everyone we missed back in Washington!
We hope everyone had a WONDERFUL Thanksgiving!

Caleb and I decided to take some fun pictures a few days ago, and he was being super cute. So here they are!

Check out his funny spiked hair! :) It has gotten SO long on the top..the spikes look kinda funny...but its still cute. So I will let it grow a little more before trimming it down.
Such a little stud!
This is his REALLY REALLY REALLY excited face!
I went in to get Caleb from his nap yesterday because I heard some rustling, and when I went in his room he was awake just cooing and petting the foot of his teddy bear great grandma bought him. It was SO cute!

Caleb has a new toy walker..and BOY does he love it!!
He also loves chewing on the petals of this toy aunt Angi bought him!
Big pretty eyes!
Caleb has discovered how to eat saltine crackers, and he LOVES them...and boy does he know how to put them down!

Our Trip to California

November 7th- 13th Caleb and I had the wonderful opportunity to go visit all my family in California. We stayed with my grandma in Oakland and had a great time!
The first night in Oakland. My mom remembered how fun it was to play ball with my niece Macaela, so she decided to try it out with Caleb! Here is Caleb playing ball with Grandma, and Great Aunt Bonnie, Great Grandma watching from the couch.

Caleb thought playing ball was pretty fun, but he didn't quite get what to do...he just wanted to eat the orange, which we later found out was one of Grandmas yummy lemons...
Great Grandma Charlotte, and Caleb hanging out together.
My uncle Craig really seemed to enjoy playing with Caleb, and Caleb enjoyed playing with Craigs beard..
Grandma Penny, Great Grandma Charlotte, and Caleb. Do you see any resemblance?? :)
Great Grandma loved holding Caleb and playing with him, and Caleb was so sweet with her!
Grandma Penny sure loved her cuddles and Caleb was super happy to see her!
Caleb was making some funny faces laying on Great Grandmas floor one night.....We couldn't figure out what he was trying to look at to make his eyes roll like this, but it was sure funny!

He sure was having a good time, check out that smile! :)
We went to Bonnies' house on Sunday night and had a yummy Thanksgiving dinner, after dinner we all went outside and took some pictures. This one is my grandma with her three daughters, Bonnie, Penny, and Teri

Everyone who was at dinner Sunday night, left to right back row, Kyle (Corrines husband), Corrine (cousin), Amber (cousin), Teri (Aunt), Me. Front row, Calli
(Corrine & Kyle's daughter), Bonnie (Aunt), My grandma, and my mom!
Caleb had his first ride on a rocking horse at Bonnie's house..he liked it...

UNTIL he had his first fall also!
Being silly. Check out those bags under his eyes,he must have been tired!!
Caleb was laying on the floor when he got a Little surprise!
The dogs wanted to come and see him! He thought they were pretty cool!
Even when this one stuck around to lick Caleb's head for like 5 MINUTES...SERIOUSLY!! Caleb just laid there the whole time...Eventually he started crying so we picked him up and washed his hair so it didn't stink like doggie breath! It was SO funny though!
Grandma gave Caleb a bath in great grandma's sink...he REALLY REALLY had fun. He also gave great grandma's bathroom a cleaning with all the water he splashed!
Posing with great grandma to remember where he is!
Cuddling Grandma after bath time
On Monday we got a chance to walk down to my grandpa's memorial site. He is in a pretty garden, that is sunken in from the rest of the memorials at the cemetery. We were able to take some beautiful flowers from grandma's amazing garden!
My mom had the idea to put some pretty leaves around grandpa's stone to remind us that we were there in Fall. Good idea mom!!

The view from the top of the Cemetery. I believe the golden gate bridge is out there somewhere...but don't ask me where...
Had to make sure to get a four generations picture!
The day we left, Corinne took Caleb and I all around Pier 39 in San Francisco. We saw all the Sea Lions talking and posing for us. They were so cute, and we were happy to not see oil all over them from the spill just a few days previous. It was SO nice outside I almost forgot it was November. I think it was around 70 degrees out!! SO NICE!
There was a bully sea lion...he wouldn't let ANYONE else on his dock..it was SO funny. Any time another one would try to get on he was right there to fight and push it back off! BULLY!
We could see Alcatraz from the pier. I got Caleb a cute shirt that says "Alcatraz Inmate" then it has a stamp on it that says "REJECT" then one right below that that says "TOO CUTE!"
Caleb had his first merry-g0-round ride. He loved it!
Isn't this one SO ADORABLE!!
Corinne, Calli, and Caleb

California was SO much fun, I am so glad that Caleb and I were able to go and visit with family there! We definitely had many wonderful experiences that will be great memories. Next time hopefully Nathan can come with us because even with how much fun we had we sure missed him!!
