Fall is here again!

It seems we have made a family tradition now of taking photos every year around this time. We love looking at the changing leaves and how beautiful everything is! We went up to the Alpine Loop tonight and took a few photos.

Caleb had so much fun running around in the leaves!

Such a little stud!
Caleb was looking up at the leaves with me.
He was about to jump off the rock here...His face is pretty funny! (If you click the photo it will make it larger so you can see better!)
We love that smile!
Running away from us into the forest.

Daddy playing with leaves with Caleb.
I guess posing wasn't something Caleb wanted to do anymore by this point, but they sure are cuties!
We love fall! It is so pretty around here for this season and we love watching the mountains change from their ugly brown, to the bright reds, oranges, and yellows. (Nathan says the mountains are green all summer...but I think they are brown...Washington always has green mountains!)

35 weeks...only 5 more to go...or so I hope!

I feel like I am getting pretty big these days!

A new do

I needed something new so I went and got my hair cut today. Here are the before and afters. It was getting quite long which I loved, but I just never took the time to do it all the way, so here it is a little shorter.

A Child's Prayer

We have been working with Caleb on folding his arms and closing his eyes for prayer. He seems to be getting it pretty well. He now knows to fold his arms before eating, and is a great reminder when he sits there folding his hands before touching his food. He does however forget that he needs to wait until we say "Amen" to start eating. We often find him in the middle of prayer starting to eat...then at the end he folds his arms again and says "Amen". He is such a sweetheart and he brings the Spirit into our home in so many ways. We love watching him learn and grow both physically and spiritually everyday!

This was probably bad, but we told him we were going to pray so we could snap this one with his eyes closed! :)

Fried Chicken Anyone?

We went shopping at Albertsons at the wrong time of day, the time when they were cooking their chicken. It smelt SO good...so we gave into the craving and picked some up for lunch a few weeks ago. We gave Caleb pieces off ours and thought he had eaten enough to satisfy his hunger. A little later we were watching TV and Caleb was playing...so we thought. He walks into the living room with a big chicken breast in his hands chomping away on it! It was pretty funny. He loved it though and continued to eat almost the whole piece himself!

Haha... this picture is a two in one. Not only is it a cute pic of Caleb, it also is a weird belly pic for those asking for one lately...too bad I had my shirts arranged strangely, oh well you can tell how huge I am getting!
He hid behind the couch to eat it...

Still alive!

I has been over a month since I last posted (sigh) I promise to be better someday...

Caleb has had so many fun learning experiences since we have been back in Provo, and he is getting more enjoyable every day! We have recently switched to cloth diapering, and he has since seen the purpose of the toilet a little more. He is now fascinated with flushing and closing the lid with an enthusiastic "BYE BYE" as either something or nothing goes down. Here are a few shots of him in action... if only we could get him to actually sit on the toilet and go potty it would be every better!
I think he is just waiting for me to tell him to put it down and get out of the bathroom in this one...
Happy I'm not making him leave... and probably weirded out that I am taking pictures of him in the bathroom!
Here is how he checks to see if there is anything that needs flushing... and even if there is nothing he will flush it repeatedly.
He's good about putting the seat down! :) Then as he pulls the handle he says "BYE BYE".....boys...
