Caleb's FIRST Halloween!

Pictures from the ward party on the Sat. before Halloween.....I can't believe I look like this...UGH!...oh well it was fun!
Handing candy out at the trunk or treat....it was fun, except we bought WAY too much candy for the number of kids in our ward....and the 2 people that came to our door on Halloween night!

On Halloween night, there was a trick or treat put on by Helaman Halls, so we took Caleb there to let him do a little trick or treating. (is that bad because it was totally for our pleasure in every way possible...??) He was SUPER cute for the girl's hall we visited. He smiled and babbled at EVERY door! He even picked his candy from the bowl at a few doors. He just reached in a grabbed it....I didn't get that on camera though unfortunately! :( The boy's hall was a different story though. He didn't smile at ANY of them, and he started getting a little cranky. I think he was getting a little warm in his costume, AND he was tired! It was a fun adventure though and everyone who saw him said he was just too cute!

When we got home we decided he should be able to look at and play with all his candy, so we laid it out on the floor for him and let him have at it....he knew EXACTLY where candy went..ha ha maybe he's seen us eating too much of it lately!

He examined almost every piece he got, and left his mark (slobber/snot) on it. :)

I think he noticed we stole a few pieces, so he is trying to hide this one. He was pretty determined to get it under the pillow...

After all the taste testing of the wrappers, Reese's was for sure his favorite...he wouldn't put it down. Basically he made this Reese's inedible for anyone but him, but he will have a to wait a little while to enjoy it himself!

Pumpkin patch...well kinda

So, we went to this pumpkin patch/garden center on Halloween with some friends from the ward....well the pumpkin patch wasn't much, but the pictures that came from the visit are pretty cute! Caleb is working on getting over his first REAL cold, so forgive me if I was a bad mom and missed a few runny noses in these pictures. :)Caleb thought the pumpkins were pretty cool, he kept feeling, and smiling at them.

But he couldn't figure out why I kept taking pictures of him with them.

I think in this one he is thinking....hmm..I wonder if I can eat this...??

Caleb LOVES big kids! Whenver he is around them he just stares and laughs at them...its pretty funny...Stare HARDHe tried to eat the stem of this one...I think after a little taste he realized it wasn't something super appetizing!

Sitting in the wagon they had for picking up the pumpkins....he was more interested in his shadow though at this point. There was a weird covering on the building this was in, hence the reason all these pics have interesting shadow lines on them.

Naptime with Tarzan

We had a ward Halloween party, and Caleb was pretty tired when we got back from it. He was sitting next to Tarzan daddy and fell sound asleep. It was pretty cute. Only thing that could have made it cuter would have been if he still had his monkey costume on! More picture of all of us in our costumes to come...we have to take some pictures tomorrow!

6 MONTHS old!!

Wow, we can not believe how fast 6 months has gone by! Our little baby is growing up so fast! Here are some pictures taken on his 6 month birthday. The pictures aren't anything fancy, but he sure is cute!Some reason I always get ugly shadows....Monica HELP!!

Getting too big!!

Graduation to the big tub!

The last few baths Caleb had in his baby tub, I think the counter around the sink got cleaner than he did! He loves splashing! He was also learning to turn the faucet on, so we decided to graduate him to the big tub. He liked it for the most part. Washing his hair went well.....we stuck his head under the faucet to rinse and he was totally OK with it! BUT, he didn't like when we tried to teach him how to float.....I guess those lessons will come later! I can not believe how chunky Caleb is getting, these pictures show it well!

Nap time

We like to take naps together, and I think its so cute how Caleb puts his arm around me and sometimes his leg. He definately is a cuddly one! P.S. these pictures proove I am NO sleeping beauty!

Teeth, more teeth, some funny pictures, and some sitting...

Caleb's Teeth have finally broken through all the way. Now they are just growing. It's fun to check every day and see how different they are. This picture was taken on October 13, and you can see the teeth are just BARELY breaking through...

On October 17th when the picture below and all other were taken you can see that his teeth have come through a LOT more...well I think so.. Caleb was being pretty silly while we were trying to take picture of his teeth. Sometimes he doesn't mind us trying to take pictures, other times he hates it! When I hold the camera by his face he always tries to put his hand in front of the lens....so sometimes I have to take TONS of picture just to get one good one because the camera focuses on his hand instead of his mouth! :)

He was making this weird face...and then he would stop, look at us, and start cracking up..it was too funny!

Caleb is beginning to master sitting up...though he still falls a lot and gets pretty devastated! In fact just moments after this picture he fell backwards trying to look at Nathan behind him, and bumped his head on the computer mouse on the floor. That incident mixed with being late at night...well we decided sitting practice would end for the day.

He is starting to figure out that if he is going to fall he can put his arm out and catch himself....I think this picture is funny...look how Nathan is sitting in the background! :)
